I provided administrative and editorial support for projects carried out by CEU Juneau.

2008 – 2010: Editor for Media General’s weekly newspaper, The Goochland Gazette (Goochland, Virginia)
I was responsible for establishing and maintaining the editorial content of a community paper in central Virginia. I assigned, wrote and edited news stories and weekly editorials, using AP style, and designed pages using InDesign and Photoshop.

2007-2008: Reporter for Media General’s weekly newspaper, The Mechanicsville Local (Mechanicsville, Virginia)
I discovered and pursued stories for the features and education beat, and shot photos to supplement the editorial package.

I co-founded and supervised a nationally-distributed magazine, forging relationships with writers, distributors, advertisers and the media and building a circulation of 10,000.
